Niagara Falls State Park & Observation Tower

The oldest National park in America, Niagara Falls State Park encompasses more than 400 acres of lush parkland and is home to one of the best views of the Falls in the city. The Observation Tower, located at the cliff of the American Falls, stands at eye level with the cascading water and features an elevator that travels the 180 ft to the base of the Falls and the docks of the Maid of the Mist.

The park is also a sanctuary for protected species, including Peregrine Falcons, Lake Sturgeon and 14 rare flora/fauna species.
